Our 'Feeling Good Week' was a great success! The purpose was to raise awareness of mental health and ways to help children keep 'healthy minds'. We welcomed a local yoga specialist to school to work with classes across the school. Pupils learned about relaxation techniques and using their breath to be calm. The school council further promoted their healthy eating campaign preparing healthy playtime snacks every day. This included: fruit kebabs, veggie sticks, dried fruit cups and rice cakes. The week was rounded off with a fun dance session led by our dance teacher, where children learned about the importance of exercise its links to the feel good chemicals in our brains.
