Ash Class April News 2022
In April Ash class have been reading lots of Traditional Tales! We began with ‘The Three Little Pigs’, where the children enjoyed acting out the story, writing speech bubbles for the characters and exploring different types of materials. We were very impressed with the children’s language when exploring different materials, as they were using words like ‘flexible’ and ‘transparent’. After the children had explored lots of different materials they designed and made their own house for the Three Little Pigs. After making them we used a hairdryer to test if their house would stay up when the Big Bad Wolf huffed and puffed! The children are very excited to explore our next stories ‘The Gingerbread Man’ and ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’.
