Ash November News
This month Ash class have started their new topic ‘Celebrations’. We have learnt about a number of different celebrations; birthdays, Bonfire Night, Diwali and Hanukkah. Soon we will learn about Christmas! The children have enjoyed lots of different activities this month, such as staging their own birthday party, writing birthday cards, making potato latkes for Hanukkah, creating Diya lamps for Diwali and thinking of and writing their own firework noises. I was especially impressed with their beautiful firework art, where they used colourful paint and glitter to create their own interpretation of fireworks.
