Pine class have been working hard this month.
In English, we have been reading ‘The magic finger’ by Roald Dahl. The children have completed different writing activities based on the story. Next week, we will be planning and writing our very own Magic Finger story!
In Maths, we have been learning how to tell the time. We have learnt o'clock, half past, quarter past, quarter to and some children have even managed to read 5 minute intervals.
In history lessons we have started learning about Victorian seaside holidays. The children have found out information about bathing machines and Punch and Judy shows.
In our science lessons we have started learning about minibeasts and microhabitats. We have been on a minibeast hunt around the school grounds and recorded the different minibeasts we found.
In forest school we have been learning how to use secateurs safely. We enjoyed gardening and trimming back larger plants.
