We were very excited to welcome our local MP - Sir Oliver Heald - to school. Sir Oliver visited our classes to see our learning. He then gave a talk where he explained more about his role as an MP. Finally, the children has a chance to ask their own questions, which included some thoughtful and challenging ones: What are the best bits of your job as an MP? What is the government doing to tackle climate change? What were your favourite subjects at school how did you become an MP? Have you met the Queen?
