We are a small, friendly school situated on the outskirts of Ware and Hertford for children in nursery to Year 6.

'Knowing each child, growing each child, in God's love' summarises our vision for all children. We pride ourselves on our ability to form strong relationships and to provide challenge and support for all of our children on an individual basis. We provide a nurturing environment where children are always encouraged to achieve their best, learn from mistakes and develop an ongoing love of learning. We benefit from extensive outdoor space, a nature area and woodland. We are a ‘Forest School’ with all year groups enjoying outdoor learning every week.

Since 1st April 2022, our school has worked in partnership with another small school as part of a federation. This gives our children 'the best of both worlds' - the family feel of our smaller setting, as well as the broader learning opportunities being part of a larger organisation offers. 

As a church school, we encourage children to respect and ‘live out’ Christian values in their day to day lives. Children’s behaviour is excellent; they show care and kindness to each other. We have strong links with our church, Holy Trinity in Bengeo, with children attending services every term. Volunteers from the church visit regularly to lead worship time for the whole school.

Our main catchment areas are Tonwell, Hertford and Ware, although we have children who travel from further afield to enjoy the many advantages our school has to offer. We offer wraparound care every day from 7.45am each morning and after school until 5pm. for all children. We offer 30 hour places in our nursery class.
