Our classes

The children are grouped in three classes – Ash class is our Early Years class for nursery and reception, Pine class is for years one, two and three and finally Oak class is for years four, five and six. The make-up of our classes varies from year to year depending on pupil numbers and the needs of the children. Teaching assistants work with children from across the school.

We see our mixed age classes as a great strength of our school. In each class, there is a friendly warm atmosphere of co-operation and our children benefit from working alongside children of varying levels of development. The partnership we develop with parents is of the utmost importance to us and parents are encouraged to volunteer in the classroom and on trips.

• Our school day is from 8.45a.m. – 3.15p.m.
• The children have a 15-minute break in the morning.
• Lunchtime is from 12.15p.m. -1.15p.m.

Children in our nursery attend school from 8.45am until 11.45am daily. WE ARE OFFER 30 HOUR PLACES IN OUR NURSERY. PLEASE CALL US FOR MORE INFORMATION.
