Breadcrumb Trail

At Tonwell St Mary's we welcome children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Our school's SENDCo is Mrs Sarah Bridgman. Our deputy SENDCo is Mrs Chelsea Coleman. You can contact them via the school office on 01920 462894 or via email head@tonwell.herts.sch.uk.

You can find more information about how we support SEND pupils on our statutory information page, where there are links to our SEN policy, SEN Information Report, Admissions and our Accessiblity Plan. You can also find further information about our complaints procedure.

We welcome children with additional needs to our school and work in partnership with parents, including at least termly meeting to review children's targets, SEND parent coffee afternoons and training sessions.

Our school is part of DSPL 3 (Delivering Special Provision Locally) and we work closely with the DSPL and outside agencies for training and advice to continually improve our provision and support best outcomes for children with SEND.
