It is wonderful to have all the children back in school and working hard.In Literacy, we have been looking at instructions and writing recipes. We had lots of fun celebrating Red Nose Day. Children came to school with crazy hair and a joke to share. We are very proud of our children for raising money for this worthy charity and living out part of our school vision 'contributing to our school and wider community'. read more
In Maths we have looked at multiplication and division strategies. Some children have been using manipulatives and building arrays while others have been using the formal written method of short multiplication, long multiplication, short division and long division. Year 4 also focused on sequencing with patterns and numbers and Year 5 and 6 had a focus on understanding algebra.
