In May Ash class have continued reading lots of Traditional Tales! The children read ‘The Gingerbread Man’ and ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ and used puppets and actions to act out the story. In Maths we have looked at applying the four operations to word problems, revision and application of decimal numbers, converting time and time duration, problems involving money and measure and pie charts.

Pine class have been working hard this month.
In English, we have been reading ‘The magic finger’ by Roald Dahl. The children have completed different writing activities based on the story. Next week, we will be planning and writing our very own Magic Finger story!
In Maths, we have been learning how to tell the time. We have learnt o'clock, half past, quarter past, quarter to and some children have even managed to read 5 minute intervals.
