Our final day of last half term was fun filled with our visit to Thundridge School to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee. Our children sang beautifully in the shared collective worship and Y6 presented a timeline of Queen Elizabeth’s life very confidently. The sun shone for our picnic! read more

It has been another fantastic month in Pine class.In English, we have been reading ‘Fantastic Mr Fox’ by Roald Dahl. The children have completed different writing activities based on the story. After half term, we will be planning and writing our very own Fantastic Mr Fox stories.In Maths, we have been learning to measure capacity and weight. In May Ash class have continued reading lots of Traditional Tales! The children read ‘The Gingerbread Man’ and ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ and used puppets and actions to act out the story. The children were shocked when they saw a picture of The Gingerbread Man in our classroom!
