In Maths we have looked at applying the four operations to word problems, revision and application of decimal numbers, converting time and time duration, problems involving money and measure and pie charts.

Pine class have been working hard this month.
In English, we have been reading ‘The magic finger’ by Roald Dahl. The children have completed different writing activities based on the story. Next week, we will be planning and writing our very own Magic Finger story!
In Maths, we have been learning how to tell the time. We have learnt o'clock, half past, quarter past, quarter to and some children have even managed to read 5 minute intervals.

In April Ash class have been reading lots of Traditional Tales! We began with ‘The Three Little Pigs’, where the children enjoyed acting out the story, writing speech bubbles for the characters and exploring different types of materials. We were very impressed with the children’s language when exploring different materials, as they were using words like ‘flexible’ and ‘transparent’.
